We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2023, at the age of 87, Genevieve L. Gero (Chateaugay, New York), born in Burke, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knox and Janet Swanston (Gray); her husband Ernest Gero; her siblings, Stewart Swanston, Charles and Caroline; her siblings-in-law, Bruce Harter and Shirley Swanston; and her niece Kelly Swanston.
She is survived by: her children, Joelle (Tony Lamica), Jeffrey (Trudy Gero) and Joslyn (Robert LaPage); her grandchildren, Simmone Bombard of Chateaugay, Meaghan (Timothy Oliver), Alexander Lamica (Lyz), Morgan Lamica, Adam Gero, Courtney Cook (Zachary), Taylor LaPage (Rylee Pivetta), Jacob and Grace Bombard; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Scott Cook, Adaline Millie Cook and Quinn Everly Oliver; and her brother John Swanston (Jack) of Chateaugay. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
