With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis C. Siskavich (Chateaugay, New York), born in Lyon Mountain, New York, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis C. Siskavich to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard C. Siskavich and Eva Siskavich (Kaska); his wife Myrtle Pageau; his brothers, Bernard "Subby", Felix, Joseph "Butch" (Linda) and Edward Siskavich; his sister-in-law Sally Siskavich; and his son-in-law Rodney Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Bernard Siskavich (Blanch "Teko") of Wanakena, NY, Paula Siskavich of Amenia, NY, Kathleen Young of Lyon Mountain, NY, Anna Morey (Keith) of Ancramdale, NY, Francis Siskavich, Jr. (Donna) of Morrisonville, NY, Margaret Pittman (Moses) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Mary Poitras (Robert) of Ellenburg Center, NY, Rita Benjamin (Thomas) of Mooers, NY, Janet Collins of Plattsburgh, NY, Eva Parsons (Ronald) of Peru, NY, Sandra Derr (Harold) of Altona, NY, Veronica Siskavich-Demers (Robert) of Altona, NY and Peter Siskavich (Shelby) of Cadyville, NY; his brothers, William Siskavich (Patricia) of Clayburg, NY and Robert Siskavich of Lyon Mountain, NY; his parents-in-law, Priscilla Siskavich of Lyon Mountain, Leona "Siskavich" Smith (Warren) of Beekmantown, NY, Robert, Mary Pageau of Lyon Mountain, Donald and Jeanette Pageau of Merrill; and his friend Ken Davies of Plattsburgh, NY. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
In accordance will current health restrictions, those in attendance are asked to observe the use of face coverings and social distancing. Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the family.
Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country or St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain.
