He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Cayea and Freda Cayea (Davis); his former wife Gerry; his siblings, Roger, John "Pug", Fred "Peanut", Clifford "Bill" Cayea, Jeannette Miller, Lucille "Lou" Ducharme and Arlene Johnson; his nephews, Bradly LaBombard and Steven Cayea; his niece Christine Wood; and his son-in-law Robert Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Andrews; his children, Charlene Yasment (Neil Pelletier) of Plattsburgh, Kathleen Truet (Ted) of Syracuse, Christine Cayea of Farmington, NY, James Cayea (Eric Normandin) of Lyon Mountain, NY and David Benjamin; his grandchildren, Janelle, Brett LaValley of Plattsburgh, Adam Payne (Elaine) of Syracuse, Christine Perez (Daniel) of Syracuse and Brandon Cayea of Plattsburgh; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Bryanna, Madeline and Luna; and his siblings, Jeanne Anne LaMare of Lyon Mountain, Mary Louise Murtha (Timothy) of South Carolina, Donald "Joe" Cayea (Lori) of Lyon Mountain, Anthony "Tony" Cayea (Alice) of Lyon Mountain and Patrick Cayea (Rhonda) of Lyon Mountain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current health restrictions, those in attendance are asked to observe the use of facial coverings and social distancing.
