It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Floyd Selkirk of Chateaugay, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Pete" Selkirk and Jean Selkirk; and his brother James Selkirk. He is survived by: his sisters, Diane DuMont (Ken) and Nancy Baker of Burke, NY; his children, David Selkirk Jr. of Bangor, NY, Lorretta Slater (Matthew) of Elmira, NY, Lorraine Zimmerman (Ben) of Dundee, NY and Mandi Allen (Steve) of Moira, NY; his grandchildren, Graham, Katherine, Theodore Slater, Alana and Savannah Zimmerman; and his caregivers, Charity and Shelly of Hospice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in David's name be made to Hospice of the North Country.
