She was predeceased by: her father Jarvis Planty. She is survived by: her husband Peter Brue; her children, Dan Genditzki, Troy Brue and Sarah Brue; her mother Marguerite Planty; and her sister Melinda Planty.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Hospice of the North Country.
