She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Shafer and Dorothy M. Shafer (Madden); her husband Alton R. Travis, Jr.; and her brother Robert Shafer. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda Rose and Rachel; her stepchildren, Carol Rifenbark of Worcester, James Shafer of Charlotteville, Richard Shafer of Ayden, NC, Sandra "Sue" Mickle of Charlotteville, William Shafer of East Worcester, Sylvia Walsh of Punta Gorda, FL and Patricia Sperbeck of Charlotteville; and her nieces and nephews, Crescent Ives, Raymond K. Travis of Worcester and Alton R. Travis, III (Kara) of Amsterdam.
