We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 78, Karen Carlson Hakim of Chappaqua, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eileen Carlson and Donald Carlson; her husband Joseph Hakim; her children, Alexandra Hakim and Christian Hakim; her children-in-law, Nicole Hakim and Christopher Snyder; her grandchildren, Andrew, Natalie Hakim, James and Claire Snyder; and her sister Christine Morley.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Mary the Virgin Episcopal Church (191 N Greeley Ave, Chappaqua, NY 10514). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fair Ridge Cemetery (476 Quaker Rd, Chappaqua, NY 10541).
Donations may be made in Karen's name to the Chappaqua Garden Club and the Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
