He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Smith Keay; and his son Jeffrey S. Keay. He is survived by: his sons, John I. Keay, Jr. of Chappaqua, NY and Robert H. Keay of Birmingham, MI; and his brother Andrew I. Keay of Medford, NJ.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
