She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ackey and Dorothy Ackey (Boudreau). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Boire; her children, Gerald E. Boire (Shari), Linda Rivers (Charles), Debra Thomas (Christopher), Mary Ann Rabideau (Ricky), Amy Palmer (Michael Patitucci) of Peru, Alicia Boire (Jamie Manor) of Rouses Point and Rebecca Boire-West (Jim); her brother Raymond "Buckie" Ackey of Altona; and her sister-in-law Stella Quelch of Virginia. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home (196 Elm St, Champlain, NY 12919). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (86 Church St, Champlain, NY 12919).
