Joan Maddy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2020, Joan Maddy of Champlain, New York, born in Quincy, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Donald F. Maddy Jr.; her sister Viola L. MacDonald (J. Robert "Bob"); and her parents, Peter Gherardi and Clara Gherardi (Pomarico). She is survived by: her children, Dawn Fraser of Gill, Mark Maddy of Champlain, NY, Diane Maddy of Rockland, Kurt Maddy of Weymouth, Scott Maddy (Deborah) of Hilton Head, SC., Craig Maddy of Lakeville and Keith Maddy of Boston; her grandchildren, Cory Maddy, Charlotte Bodell, Matt, Jeremiah, Sindy, Robert Maddy, Heather Maddy, Richard Briggs, Justin, Kyle, Amber Maddy, Tayla and Paige Maddy; her spouse Donnie; and her close friend Ellie Craven. She is also survived by family members and cherished friends.

Due to restrictions of COVID 19, visitation and Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Marshfield will be private.
