He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Ducharme and Aurore Ducharme (Lafontaine); his sisters, Henrietta Babbie (Alfred) and Helen LaValley (Walter); his wife Genevieve Elizabeth LaValley; his children, Gerald Ducharme (Jeffrey Groenheide), Diane (Steven Menard), Julie (David Seibert) and Tina (Lonny LaCount); and his grandchildren, Micere Brunelle of Beekmantown, David Menard of Plattsburgh, Brandon Menard of Mooers Forks, Kim Sauerwein (Seibert) of Mainz, Germany and Isabella LaCount of Rouses Point.
Due to the COVID pandemic, St. Mary's Church capacity will be limited to 120 people including the immediate family.
