He was predeceased by: his parents, Erastus G. Tupper and Esther Tupper (Yancey); his son Harry William Tupper; his brother Harry Weldon Tupper; and his former wife Margaret "Peggy" E. Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Tupper; and his children, Charles Gregory Tupper (Sarah), Deborah White (Stephen), Eric G. Tupper (Jennifer), Jill Gosselin (Daniel) and Michelle Rusho (Dylan Detlor). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the Edwards-Knox Central School Music Department, 2512 Co Rt 24, Hermon NY 13652.
