It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Oakes of Champlain, New York, born in Oswego, New York, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Eleanor Smith; and her siblings, Smitty and Rodney. She is survived by: her husband David C. Oakes; her children, Marcia Oakes (Rob) and Francis Oakes (Laurie) of Halfmoon; her grandchildren, Mercedes Himes, Hailey, Robbie Farley, Evan and Mason Oakes; and her siblings, Cindy, David, Van, Sally and Brent. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Masks are required for entry and social distancing procedures will be in place.
