He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dixon and Bertha Trombley Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fournier; his children, Darryl Dixon, Michael, Shane Dixon (Katie), Jon-Christopher Dixon, Heidi Calkins (Earl) and Tammy Matthew (Tim); and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Williamson (Craig), Larry (Katherine) and Roger Fournier (Lisa). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews.
