He is survived by: his wife Michele Kires; his children, Michael Kires (Colleen), Mathew Kires (Crystal) and Katie Barber (David); his grandsons, Brendan, Braxton and Brayden Kires; his siblings, Theodore Kires (Colleen), Janet Iammatteo and Diane Colton (John); and his pet Cheddar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
