He is survived by: his children, Scott Cavanaugh, Jr., Stephen Cavanaugh (Shayna DeRienzo), Stacy Cavanaugh, Dawn Cavanaugh, Piper Cavanaugh, Gordon Cavanaugh and Amanda Kirby; and his grandchildren, Ophelia Franze and Jeremiah Kirby. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, services will be private for the family.
