He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Holmes; his sons, Ronnie and Robert Whigham; and his parents, Vella Whigham and Eugene D Whigham.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lucille Whigham Waite, Carolyn Chapman, Sandra Strickland (Otis), Barbara Ann Becton and Wyman Whigham (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
