He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Painter and Leola Painter (Dunham). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Kathy Schmeling (Kurt) and Sharon Hoyt (Dave); and his great grandchild Noah. He is also survived by niece, and cousins.
