He is survived by: his wife Lynn Rittell of Syracuse, NY.; his daughters, Kristen Midey (Anthony) and Laurie VanderVeen (Michael Sullivan); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Midey and Jonathan Midey; and his siblings, John VanderVeen (Barbara) and Judy VanderVeen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home (631 S Main St, Central Square, NY 13036). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Church (592 S Main St, Central Square, NY 13036). A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Hillside Cemetery (723 N Main St, Central Square, NY 13036).
