He is survived by: his children, Michael Kowanes (Nicole) and Melissa Kowanes (Mike Trumble); his grandsons, Tyler, Hunter, Jamison and Lincoln Kowanes; his siblings, Elizabeth Pouliot, Arna Speech, Katherine Gearsbeck, Mary Young, Cheryl Stone, Arnold Kowanes, Howard Kowanes and Ronald Kowanes; and his significant other Shirley Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
