She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Steenrod and Dorothy Steenrod; her daughter Melanie Rose Kleingardner; her siblings, Harry Steenrod and Marsha Steenrod; and her grandson Marv.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Kleingardner; and her children, Charlie Kleingardner (Chris), Randy Boyles (Erica) and Valerie Kleingardner (Ron). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
