He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Roach and Catherine Roach; his brothers, Jack and Edward Roach; and his stepdaughter Mary Ann VanDyke.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Roach; his children, Kevin Roach (Heather) of Pittsburgh, PA, Erin Halpin (Jeffrey Heick) of Liverpool and Lauren Roach of Central Square; and his stepchildren, Richard VanOrden (Carol) of Brewerton, William VanOrden (Wendi) of Norwich, Jean Pallotta (Tom) of Hastings, Ray VanOrden (Joyce) of Prescott, AZ and Patricia Colwell (Jim) of North Syracuse. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
