He is survived by: his wife Sally Michaud Thornton; his son Jesse Thornton, III (Susan); his grandchildren, Jesse Thornton, IV, Sabrina Thornton and Stephanie Rodriguez (Gabriel); his siblings, William Sallin, Jerry Thornton and Belinda Segars; and his close friend Richard Breland.
