He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Welch and Dorothy Bradwood Welch; and his son-in-law John Prescott. He is survived by: his wife Carlene A. Barnes; and his children, James (Terry), William Welch (Debbie), Dorothy Bennett, Kathleen Hoffman (Steve), Jeanette Prescott and Katie Barnes. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
