He is survived by: his wife Mary "Kilpatrick" Pelton; and his children, Julie Purdy, Ella Gufler, Laura Wetzel, Teresa Hughes (Steve), Herbert Pelton Jr., James Pelton, Charles Pelton (Sandy), Thomas Pelton (Cherrie), Dennis Pelton, Robert Pelton (Debbie) and Daniel Pelton. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
