With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward G. Essel of Central Square, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph V. Essel and Augusta E. Herrmann; his wife Mary Pat; and his siblings, Joseph Essel and Barbara Knittle.
He is survived by: his children, Marydiane Scheemaker (Bob), David Essel and Terrance Essel (Paula); his grandchildren, Anastasia Socie (Kris) and Joshua Scheemaker (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Ariana, Kaden and Luke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
