He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon VanLiew and Ruth Wood VanLiew; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Harold Rowe. He is survived by: his wife Donna Johnson; his children, Jody and Deborah VanLiew Holzwarth (David); his grandchildren, Ryan Holzwarth (Emerald), Ashley Holzwarth Fortune (Jake) and Megan Holzwarth DenBleyker (Steve); his great grandchildren, Anderson, Walter and Levi; and his brother Richard VanLiew (Peggy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
