He is survived by: his wife Naomi Fisher; his children, Simon Girod (Dorothy), Rosie Hershberger (Alvin), Emanuel Girod (Rhoda Ann), Miriam Brenneman (Ernest), Esther Miller (Raymond) and Jacob Girod (Lizzie); his mother-in-law Rosie Byler; and his stepmother Rachel Girod. He is also survived by six brothers, five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
