It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Makofske (Center Moriches, New York), born in Brentwood, New York, who passed away on October 13, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Kathryn; and his sibling Donald Makofske. He is survived by: his children, Loretta Little, Alison Brown and Maureen Farni (Howard); and his sibling Shirley Lints.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck Squaws.
