He was predeceased by: his siblings, Loretta Sturick, Ruth Mothersell, Marion Delamater, Nellis Thorp, George Thorp and Willard Thorp.
He is survived by: his parents, Willard Thorp and Erma Thorp (Southerden); his wife Beverly; his daughters, Theresa Richardson (Don) of Chittenango, Cindy Hirt (Fred) of New Woodstock and Robin Woodworth of Chittenango; his grandchildren, Kyle Hirt (Lisa), Andrew Hirt (Nichole), Mallory Polisse (Kyle), Nichole Loope (Bobby), Brett Richardson, Keith Woodworth and Jeffrey Woodworth; his sisters, Alice Hayes and Wilma Hayes; his sister-in-law Midge Herrick; and his son-in-law Leon Woodworth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
