He is survived by: his wife Elaine "Sam" Horstmyer; and his children, Steve Horstmyer (Peggy) of Cazenovia, Dave Horstmyer (Patti) of Schenectady, Lisa Schaffner (Ed Kennedy, Jr.) of Cazenovia and Karen McDonough (David) of Manlius. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
