With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Benner of Cazenovia, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Benner and Margaret Benner; and his sister Kate McCullough. He is survived by: his wife Patti Benner; his daughters, Terri (Shawn), Meghan (Kelly) and Stephanie (James); his sister Margaret Costello; and his grandchildren, Casie, Lucas, Alyssa, Carly and Alex.
