He was predeceased by: his son John J. Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Diane Ryan; his children, David Ryan (Susan) of Delaware, Maura Ryan (Paul), Raymond Ryan (Jill), Timothy Ryan (Heather) of Cazenovia and Kathleen Ryan-O'Neill (Joseph) of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Mary, David Ryan, Anne Weithman, Meggie Weithman, Connor Ryan, Liam Ryan, Andrew, Duncan, Tessa, Winston and Dagny Ryan.
