She was predeceased by: her parents, Regino Sanchez and Carmen Sanchez; her husband Carl E. Laird; her daughter Leslie A. Laird; her close friend Donald Parisou; and her brother Fernando Sanchez.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carmen McCarthy of Cazenovia and Carlos Sanchez (Juanita) of Spain; her nieces and nephews, Dora Riedl of Cazenovia, Debra Conan of Syracuse, Carlos, Susanna, Veronica, Anna of Spain and Dylan Ryder; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dima Conan, Donald Conan and Joseph Riedl.
