It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Hughes of Cazenovia, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward O'Hara and Cecilia O'Hara; her husband Bernard "Bernie" Hughes; and her siblings, Gladys McGee, James, Robert, Richard and John O'Hara.

She is survived by : her sons, Scott Hughes (Ginger) of Eaton and Jeffrey Hughes (Edie) of Cazenovia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
