She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merwin Hughes and Mabel Hughes; her brother Bernie; her sister-in-law Peggy Hughes of Cazenovia; her husband Paul Slauson; and her brother Robert Hughes. She was also cherished by her four nephews.
