He is survived by : his children, Lisette Brod (Bill) and Lincoln Shirley; his sister Sonia Smith; his grandchildren, Annalise, Kelsey, Gillian, Hannah Brod, Alec Formatin Shirley King (Andy) and Ian Formatin Shirley (Leyla); his great grandchild Connor King; his nephew Todd Smith (Theresa); his great-nephews, Samuel and Matthew Smith; his niece Rani Ruf (Mike); his great-nephews, Brian and Kevin Hershberger; and his great-niece Rachel.
