He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Frederick Evans, Jr. and Barbara Bradshaw Evans; his wife Mary; his siblings, Margaret Evans Lane of Cazenovia and Bradshaw Allen Evans (Shawna) of Barrington; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Lane (Richard Fraschilla), Emily Lane-Meija (Piero), Samantha Evans, Christopher Lane and Bradshaw Evans; his great-nieces, Lucie Charlotte Mejia and Madeline Evans Fraschilla; and also, Helen Winchester Metz and Grace Chapin Metz (Christopher Hunton).

The family suggests that those who wish to make donations in Jim's memory kindly consider the Cazenovia Volunteer Ambulance Corps (CAVAC), http://www.cavacambulance.org.
