With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Grunert of Cazenovia, New York, born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Grunert to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Helen Case Grunert and Frederick Karl Grunert Sr.; and his brother Jerauld. He is survived by : his wife Donna; his children, Frederick Karl Grunert III (Betsy Whitehouse) of Pittsford, NY and Hilary Irby (Elijah) of Rye, NY; his stepchildren, Guy Sturgis (Amy) of Melrose, MA and Tami Gordon (David) of Boise, ID; his sisters, Shirley Beckeman of Jamesville, Wilma Brownback of Manlius and Susan Ross of Hilton Head, SC; and his grandchildren, Fritz, Evelyn, Conor Lynne, Carter, Sam and Philip. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
