He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Wigsten and Josephine Wigsten; and his wife Kathy Wigsten. He is survived by: his children, Sarah (Justin VanTassel) and Bradley (Jenna Wigsten); his grandchildren, Charlotte and Hudson VanTassel; his siblings, Brad Wigsten (Bonnie), Bonnie Wijkowski (Eddie), David Wigsten (Nancy) and Betsy Weeks (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, Mary Anne Bly (Bob), Margaret Williams, Bill Clark and Amy Bond (Ed); and his friends, Brian, Sue McCabe and Parting Glass Society. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
