He was predeceased by: his former wife Marilyn Rose Swaney. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Copp-Swaney; and his children, John Swaney, Courtney Bermudez Swaney and Philip J. Swaney, Jr. (Kellie). He is also survived by several stepchildren, grandchildren, and step-grandchildren.
