He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Barnhart and Anna Dingman Barnhart; his wife Rosalind (Squires); his children, Robert E. Jr., Donald (Sharen Duncan), Valerie Elliott (Doug), Richard (Susan), Jeffrey (Doris), Rene and McCarty; and his siblings, Lester Barnhart (Sharon) and Virginia Lawrence. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
