It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Arden (Cayuga, New York), born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on July 29, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dawson and Doreen Margaret Arden (Heathwaite); and his brother Clifford Arden. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Arden (Smith) of Trumansburg; his sister Patricia Terwilliger of Newfield; and his children, Carol Arden of Ithaca, Robert R. Arden (Karen) of Burdett, Heather Peyton (David) of North Carolina, Tracy Vesley (Jason) of Mecklenburg, Sean Vesley, Paul Terwilliger of Newfield, Ala, Justin Townsend (Faith) of Deland, FL, Nicholas Arden (Ashleigh) of Trumansburg, Tyler Arden of Trumansburg, Derek, Kailie Moore of Corning, Kaitlin, Ashley Crane of Burdett, Aubryanna, Gabriel Arden and Destan Peyton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family asks those that would like to make a donation in Richards's memory to kindly consider donating to the Trumansburg Ambulance Fund.
