He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret A. Strauss; his siblings, Jean Berry, Virginia Long and Roger W. Day; and his stepsons, Brian S. Donahue and George S. Donahue.
He is survived by: his wife Edwena G. Day; his children, Jeffrey W. Day (Helen) of Cayuga and Janet L. Kyle of Althea, FL.; and his stepchildren, Rene C. Jordan, Eileen E Ball (Kalvin), Mark A. Donahue (Jen) and Sandra M Donahue (Bean). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lester's memory may be made to Cayuga Fire Dept., Weedsport Fire Dept., or First Presbyterian Church of Weedsport.
