It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dixon (Cayuga, New York), born in Port Byron, New York, who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Dixon and Margaret Binns Dixon; his wife Gladys Gertrude Dixon; and his brother Bobby Dixon. He is survived by: his sons, James Dixon II (Rhonda), Edward Dixon and John Dixon (Carmella); his stepsons, Ronnie Pethybridge (Jackie) and Michael Pethybridge (Beth); and his stepsiblings, Mary Lee Gunn and Gary Gunn. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to the local food bank during this difficult time for people which he loved.
