Hastings (Cayuga, New York), born in Richford, New York, who passed away on August 30, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angeline Hamilton Tarbox and John "Pesty" Hastings; her son-in-law Fred Apker; and her siblings, Raymond, Leon, Ruby and Lura.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Hastings of Ithaca, Mary Apker of Dryden and John Thomas Hastings III of Albany, NY; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hastings of Raleigh, NC, Christopher Apker (Sonia) of Homer, NY, Michelle Chillis (Robert) of Danville, PA, Scott Hastings (Lisa) and Patrick Hastings (Chrissy) of Van Etten, NY; her great grandchildren, Joshua (Rachel Keefe), Nathan, Zachary, Catherine Apker of Homer, NY, Samantha, Kiera, Emily Chillis of Danville, PA, Everett, Olivia Hastings, Laurin, Keili, Ian, Johnathan and Julia Hastings of Van Etten, NY.; and her brother Jewett "Iggy" Tarbox (Mabel) of Long Lake, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
