Donald T. Tavener Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald T. Tavener of Cayuga, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Thea Bennett Tavener; his parents, George Tavener and Laura Marsh Tavener; and his siblings, Arlene Hurlbutt (Duke), Dorothy Bartley (Ralph) and Harvey Tavener (Virginia).
He is survived by: his children, Carol Colella (Steve) of South Carolina, Donna Pollard (Paul Weiler) of Cayuga, Judy Ellis (Steve) of Seneca Falls and Donald Tavener (Maureen) of Auburn; and his pet Sissy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be made in memory of Donald to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, or the Cayuga Fire Department.
