We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Beatrice E. Dean (Cayuga, New York), born in Elmira, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Combs and Emma Combs (Sims); her husband Elbert Dean, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Tina Dean; and her siblings, Patricia Cran and Joseph Combs, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Holleran (Eugene), Debra Elliott (Ronny), Belinda Grantier (John), David Dean and Elbert Dean (Gloria); her stepdaughter Paula Briggs (Tom); her siblings, Harriet Bowman and Ron Combs (Betty); and her grandchildren, Frederick Collins, Scott Dean, Andrew Dean, Christopher Dean, Casey Dean, Kelli Buchholz, Rhonda Slater, Rebeca Gould, Rachel Davies, Renee Pickering, Randy Sims, Joshua Sims, John Grantier, Samantha Grantier, George Wood, Jon Wood and Jamie Clarke. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, Elbert Dean, Sr., daughter-in-law, Tina Dean; sister, Patricia Cran; and brother, Joseph Combs, Jr. Due to the coronavirus, there will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, 388 Upper Oakwood Ave, Elmira, NY 14903.
