With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Hughes of Cattaraugus, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hughes and Margaret Mutschler Hughes; his son Shawn Hughes; and his siblings, Maureen Hughes and Ronald Hughes (Teresa).
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Rolfe (Michael) of Cattaraugus, NY, Patrick Hughes (Sue Harrison) of Salamanca, NY and John Hughes of Cattaraugus, NY; and his grandchildren, Colleen Green (Ethan) of Cattaraugus, NY, Brittany Rolfe (Joe Vullo) of Salamanca, NY, Tiffany Rolfe (Nick Bausum) of Cattaraugus, NY, Brandon Hughes of Cattaraugus, NY and Aiden Hughes of Cattaraugus, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made for William's funeral expenses in care of Tracy Rolfe, 8 Lincoln Street, Cattaraugus, NY 14719.
