It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian M. Hess of Cattaraugus, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hintz and Lela Hintz; her husband Andrew Hess; her daughter Diane Hill; and her sisters, Thelma and Eleanor.

She is survived by: her sons, David Hess (Maria) of Gowanda, NY and Paul Hess of Allegany, NY; her grandchildren, Dennis, Andrea, Jennifer and Tiffany; and her great grandchild Myles.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Otto, NY.
